A hybrid power system has more than one type of energy source.
The ATS RIP system uses batteries as the primary energy storage which are automatically kept charged by a
diesel-generator (or other). This allows a much smaller genset
(up to 50% reduction) running 10% to 20% of the operational time.
Our typical system operates up to 20 hours on batteries and 4 hours from the genset per day.
